the media and fear... could I be wrong?

Interesting that Fox dumped that moron Beck. He got along real well with Bill Ayers who gets along famously with Murdock. And to be sure Beck was selling fear. So if my theory holds water, "the media is the right arm of anarchy", then Beck should still be on spouting lies and fear. But he's gone because his ratings dropped and Fox could not get sponsors! ahhhh thars the rub. If selling fear is profitable (and it usually is) the media will spread the most vile of views. But if not then they fire the fear monger.

Thinking about this again, perhaps this is really more evidence of my theory?

Let me think some more...

PS Murdoch is an interesting dude and not the horrible person he is made out to be by the the far left... try

Yes I am quite interested in politics as a social and historical study. I cared little about it until around 2001.

Most of what is posted here is just cut and paste from my comments on other blogs and newspapers, etc.

  3. The quote, "The media is the right arm of anarchy" is becoming quite the thing. However I think you are casting too wide a net here. In truth the media reflects society and having some media crazy to the left and some crazy right is simply the norm today. For example Fox's political view reflects the part of society that loves that stuff is simply getting what they want to hear. Look how riled up the "base" is. In truth the entire GOP voting black is not nearly as riled up as Fox wants to make it seem. Don't blame the media for delivering the product "some" people want.
